Traditional Chinese Medicine (International Program)
Bachelor of Traditional Chinese Medicine (International Program)
This is a six-year international program in traditional Chinese medicine. English and Chinese languages are used during the study. Students will study at Thammasat University for three years and at Chengdu University of Traditional Chinese Medicine for the other three years. Two degree certificates from both universities are offered.

Requirements

General requirements

 

1.   Applicants' age is not over 30 years (Counting from the first day of the first semester) and must not hold Chinese nationality.

2.   According to the Ministry of Education program, applicants graduated from senior high school or currently studying in senior high school and graduate this academic year. Alternatively, applicants graduated from international school or currently studying and will graduate this academic year either domestically or internally. In comparing qualifications, use the criteria specified in 2019 Thammasat University's Approach to Comparing Qualifications.

3.   Applicants must not be the current students of other universities or other educational institutions unless open universities or distance education (online course) have a degree.

4.   Applicants must not have any diseases that would be an obstacle to education (no severe color blindness on both eyes side)

5.   Applicants must not be immoral or severe misconduct.

Applicants who do not meet the English proficiency test scores requirement above shall not be eligible for the Traditional Chinese of Medicine. However, applicants who have a total GPA of English are not less than 3.00, and one of the English proficiency test scores is below. In this case, they will be considered with additional conditions.

Additional condition: accepted applicants must take extra English courses and ensure their development while studying.

Alternatively, CICM will consider applicants with a language proficiency test (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi: HSK) level 4 or higher to be exempted in CMN 112 Fundamentals of Chinese 1 and CMN 121 Fundamentals of Chinese 2.

            1.1 Portfolio (Unlimited pages printed in Thai or English, Font: TH Sarabun PSK size16, keep all document in the same file holder) including

  • Personal information, Self-introduction, Academic Education Results, and Academic Activities
  • Talent, vocation, and research skills
  • Moral and Ethics activities
  • English language proficiency test score and Chinese language proficiency test (Hanyu Shuiping Kaoshi: HSK)

Inter Portfolio 1 must submit applicants' portfolios from 2-16 November 2020.

 

Inter Portfolio 2 must submit applicants' portfolios from 1-20 February 2021.

 

This portfolio is an essential part of applying for a Bachelor's degree, so applicants should submit their portfolio to Chulabhorn International College of Medicine before the deadline of application.

Tuition and Fees

 
- 80,000 THB/Semester for applicants that have Thai nationality.
- 100,000 THB/Semester for applicants that have other nationalities.
