Admission Requirements

1. According to the Ministry of Education program, all applicants must graduate or currently studying in senior high school (Thai program or international program) or equivalent, and must have the following subject examination results in their transcript: 1) Biology, 2) Chemistry 3) Mathematic 4) Physic, or combined science exam result.

For applicants who are still studying in the senior high school

-      An official document issued by school confirming that student is expected to graduate this academic year.

-      An official transcript is showing the result of every semester throughout the program.

For applicants who have completed senior high school, a supporting document issued by school must be submitted as proof of completion.

2. Applicants must not be a student of any university or other higher education institution, except for studies at an open university or online programs leading to a degree.

3. Applicants must not have any symptoms or be in a condition that would be a serious obstacle to the study or have abnormalities that interfere with study, such as blindness or blurred vision in both monocular and binoculars or color blindness from moderate level or above It has a stereopsis perception of not less than 40 secs of arc.

4. Not engaging in morally improper behavior or displaying severely detrimental conduct.

Applicants who do not meet the English proficiency test scores requirement above shall not be eligible for this program. However, applicants who have a total GPA of English are not less than 3.00, and one of the English proficiency test scores is below. In this case, they will be considered with additional conditions.

            Furthermore, the scores of the English language proficiency test presented must not exceed 2 years from the test date to the application date.

     1. Portfolio in Thai or English,  not more than 10 pages excluding front-back cover and please order the documents according to this template;

         - Page 1:  Profile (Personal information / Self-introduction)

         - Page 2:  Education

         -  Page 3:  Official Academic Records, Grades, Transcript

         - Page 4:  English proficiency test score

         - Page 5:  Special knowledge, skills, research and professions

         - Page 6:  Academic activities

         - Page 7:  Activities on morality and ethics, nurturing and promoting arts,   culture and society.

         - Page 8:  Sports & Health promotion activities or other activities that improve social skills

         - Page 9-10: Other related activities.

       * Applicants portfolio must submit in PDF file as the entire same file and sent to email: cvstcmod.admission@gmail.com

 -       Inter Portfolio 1 must submit applicants portfolio from 5-30 November 2024.

 -       Inter Portfolio 2 must submit applicants portfolio from 1-28 February 2025.

2. Interview will be in English language.

Steps in the Application Process

Application Process

     1. Please carefully review information in the program admission announcement before submit your application.

      2. Candidates are required to register and save their information via an online admission system at www.cicm.tu.ac.th within the specified dates and times. Please save your admission information independently and carefully check all information for your own benefit.

      3. After filling out an online application form, candidates can pay the application fee, 1,000 THB through Thai Mobile Banking App, by scan QR code generated from the application system. After making the payment, candidates must save and upload their payment slip into the system. All processes must be completed within 30 Minutes. 

  • If any candidate does not complete the payment for admission within the specified dates and times, their admission and personal details for the online application are considered voided.
  • Once the payment has been completed, the admission process is considered successful, and the university will not refund any admission and examination fees to candidates under any circumstances.

     4. Portfolio submission must be in the PDF file format and include all documents into a single file. Portfolio should be submitted to cvstcmod.admission@gmail.com, before the application deadline.

  •  If found later that candidates do not meet any of the aforementioned requirements or given false information, whether intentionally or not, they will be disqualified from studying in the Doctor of Optometry (International Program) regardless of whether they have successfully passed the admission process.
