Remark:

1. If the number of accepted applicants in the Inter Portfolio Round 1 does not meet the specified quota, additional applicants will be accepted in the subsequent rounds until the desired number is reached.

2. Chulabhorn International College of Medicine accepts applications in the TCAS Round 2 (Quota) through Thammasat University's admissions system. Applicants can find more details at www.tuadmissions.in.th.

Admission Requirements

1. Applicants must be under 30 years of age (as of the first day of the academic semester) and must not be of Chinese nationality.

2. Must have graduated from the 6th year of high school or be currently studying in the 6th year of high school and will graduate in the current academic year according to the Ministry of Education, or have graduated from an international school, or be currently studying and will graduate in the current academic year, both in Thailand and abroad, and have their qualifications recognized according to the announcement on the guidelines for equivalency of educational qualifications to the high school level of Thammasat University, B.E. 2564 Topic no. 4

3. Applicants must not be a student of any university or other higher education institution, except for studies at an open university or online programs leading to a degree.

4. Applicants must not have any medical conditions that would significantly hinder their education (such as severe color blindness in both eyes).

5. Not engaged in morally improper behavior or displaying severely detrimental conduct.

6. The admission criteria for Traditional Chinese Medicine (International Program) are divided into 4 cases as follows:

Case 1: Must have English language proficiency scores according to Thammasat University's international program standards, with one of the following test results :

- Case 2: Applicants who do not meet the English language score requirements for admission to the International Program at Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University, but have a total GPA of English which are not less than 3.00 will be considered for conditional admission. This will include additional English language development during their studies, and they must achieve an English language test score that meets or exceeds the admission criteria for the International Program at Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, as stipulated by Thammasat University, as follows:

Case 3: Applicants have English language proficiency scores in accordance with the admission criteria of the International Program, Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University, and have Chinese language proficiency scores test of HSK Level 4 or higher. When enrolled, they will be exempted in CMN 141 Fundamentals of Chinese.

 

Case 4: Applicants have Chinese language proficiency scores at or above HSK Level 4 but do not have English language proficiency scores according to Case 1 and Case 2. They will be considered for admission with conditions, which include further development of English language skills during their studies. They must also have achieved scores in the English language proficiency test according to the admission criteria of the International Program, Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University. Also, applicants who achieve language proficiency test scores of HSK level 4 or higher will be exempted in CMN 141 Fundamentals of Chinese.

* English proficiency test scores and Chinese language proficiency test must be valid for no more than two years, calculated from the test date to the date of application submission. However, for A-Level English (Code 82), the score must be valid for no more than one year from the test date to the application submission date.

Admission Criteria

Inter Portfolio Round 1 / Inter Portfolio Round 2

1. Consideration will be based on a portfolio of no more than 10 pages on A4-sized paper (excluding the cover page, introduction, and table of contents). All content must be written in English, using an appropriate font style and size, and must adhere to the specified format:

Page 1: Profile (Personal Information / Self-Introduction / Statement of Purpose)

Page 2: Educational Background starting from secondary school (or its equivalent). (Applicants who are currently enrolled must submit an official letter from their school confirming their current enrollment status.)

Page 3: Academic Transcripts covering 4–6 semesters or proof of graduation

Page 4: English Language Proficiency Test Report

Page 5: Special Knowledge, Skills, and Professions

Page 6: Academic Activities, Research Projects, and Competitions

Page 7: Activities on Morality and Ethics; Nurturing and Promoting Arts, Culture, and Society

Page 8: Sports and Health Promotion Activities or Other Activities That Improve Social Skills

Pages 9–10: Awards, Certificates, and Other Activities.

Application Instructions

1. Review the Admission Announcement

Please carefully review all information provided in the official program admission announcement before submitting your application.

2. Online Registration

Candidates are required to register and input their information via the online admission system at www.cicm.tu.ac.th within the specified dates and times. Candidates are advised to save their admission details independently and to carefully verify all information for their own benefit.

3. Application Fee Payment

After completing the online application form, candidates must pay the application fee of 1,000 THB via a Thai Mobile Banking Application by scanning the QR code generated by the system. Once payment is made, the payment slip must be saved and uploaded to the system.

Note: All steps in this process must be completed within 30 minutes. Failure to complete the payment within the specified time frame will result in the automatic cancellation of the application, and all personal details submitted will be considered void. Once payment is successfully completed, the application will be considered valid. Please note that the university does not issue refunds for any application or examination fees under any circumstances.

4. Portfolio Submission

The portfolio must be submitted in PDF format, with all required documents combined into a single file. Portfolios must be emailed to cvstcmod.admission@gmail.com before the application deadline.

Important: In the event that a candidate is later found to have failed to meet any of the stated requirements or to have submitted false or misleading information, they will be disqualified from enrollment in the Traditional Chinese Medicine (International Program), regardless of whether they have already passed the admission process.

Additional Information

Evidence and supporting documents for the examination

On the interview day, eligible candidates must present the following documents to the staff.

1. Interview Reporting Form.

2. The medical examination and X-ray report form can be downloaded at www.cicm.tu.ac.th => Admission => Undergraduate Programs. Select the program you are applying for. This report must be taken to a public or private hospital for the medical examination and X-ray. The examining physician must fill out the results, sign as proof, and stamp the hospital seal next to the physician's signature.

3. One copy of the national ID card or passport (original document along with a copy, with the applicant's signature certifying that it is a true copy).

4. One copy of the English language proficiency test results (original document along with a copy, with the applicant's signature certifying that it is a true copy).

5. Educational qualifications and test scores must meet the eligibility criteria specified for applicants. In the case of applicants who are currently studying and are expected to graduate in the current academic year, a certified letter of student status confirming enrollment in Matthayom 6 (Grade 12) or its equivalent must be submitted (one original copy with one photocopy, both signed by the applicant to certify as true copies).

6. One copy of the name change certificate, only if the name on the documents does not match (original document along with a copy, with the applicant's signature certifying that it is a true copy).

Note: The original documents will be returned to the applicant after verification by the staff.
