Admission Requirements

Applicants must be under 28 years of age as of 31 August 2027.

Educational Qualifications

Applicants must have completed, or be currently enrolled in, a senior high school or equivalent program approved by the Ministry of Education and be expected to graduate in the current academic year. Alternatively, applicants may have completed, or be currently enrolled in, a domestic or overseas international school and be expected to graduate in the current academic year from either Grade 12 (American education system) or Year 13 (British education system).

Applicants are required to submit an official academic transcript showing examination results in Biology, Chemistry, and either Mathematics or Physics.

Applicants who present a High School Certificate Equivalency must submit all required supporting documents and meet the equivalency requirements established by the Ministry of Education, as well as the guidelines issued by Thammasat University (B.E. 2564, Item 4). Applicants holding a General Educational Development (GED) certificate are not eligible to apply.

English Language Skills and Standard Knowledge

All applicants must submit proof of English language proficiency by providing the result of one of the following tests:

1) IELTS (Academic or UKVI): Minimum overall score of 6.5

Note: IELTS One Skill Retake is not accepted.

2) TOEFL iBT (Internet-based Test): Minimum score of 79

3) TU-GET: Paper-based test: minimum score of 550 OR Computer-based test: minimum score of 79

• English language proficiency test scores must be no more than two years old at the time of the application deadline.

The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT)

Only UCAT scores from the 2026 testing cycle will be considered.


 
Admission Process / Selection Criteria

The admission process and selection criteria are determined by the Selection Committee of the Doctor of Medicine (International Program).

1. The University Clinical Aptitude Test (UCAT)

Only UCAT scores from the 2026 testing cycle will be considered.

2. A portfolio of no more than 10 (A4) pages (no cover, preface, or table of contents required). All content must be typed in English using an appropriate font and font size, and must follow the specified format below:

Page 1: Profile (Personal Information / Self-Introduction / Statement of Purpose)

Page 2: Educational Background starting from secondary school (or its equivalent). (For applicants who are currently enrolled, an official letter from the school must be submitted to confirm the applicant’s current enrollment status).

Page 3: Academic Transcripts covering 4–6 semesters /or proof of graduation.

Page 4: English Language Proficiency Test Report

Page 5: UCAT (University Clinical Aptitude Test) Score Report

Page 6: Special Knowledge, Skills, and Professions

Page 7: Academic Activities, Research Projects, and Competitions

Page 8: Activities on Morality and Ethics; Nurturing and Promoting Arts, Culture, and Society

Page 9: Sports and Health Promotion Activities or Other Activities That Improve Social Skills

Page 10: Awards, Certificates, and Other Activities

Applicants are required to submit their portfolio in PDF format, with all supporting documents combined into a single file. The completed portfolio must be sent via email to cicm.medinter@gmail.com, prior to the application deadline.

3. Medical Examination

(Applicable only to applicants who are selected and eligible for enrollment)

The medical examination report must be submitted on the day of signing the student contract for enrollment in the Doctor of Medicine program.

4. Interview

The interview will assess the applicant’s attitude and occupational suitability

Please note: The interview will be conducted in English.


 
Application Instructions

1. Review the Admission Announcement

Please read the official admission announcement carefully before submitting your application to ensure that you meet all eligibility requirements and understand the admission process.

2. Online Registration

Applicants are required to register and complete the online application form through the admission system at www.cicm.tu.ac.th within the specified application period. Applicants are advised to save a copy of their application details and carefully verify that all information is accurate before submission.

3. Application Fee Payment

After completing the online application form, applicants must pay the application fee of 2,000 THB via a Thai mobile banking application by scanning the QR code generated by the system. Once the payment has been completed, the payment slip must be saved and uploaded to the online application system.

Note: All steps in the application and payment process must be completed within 30 minutes. Failure to complete the payment within the specified time will result in the automatic cancellation of the application, and all submitted information will be discarded. An application will be considered complete only after successful payment has been received. Please note that the University does not refund application or examination fees under any circumstances.

4. Portfolio Submission

The portfolio must be submitted in PDF format, with all required supporting documents combined into a single file. The completed portfolio must be emailed to cicm.medinter@gmail.com before the application deadline.

Important: If, at any stage of the admission process, an applicant is found to be ineligible or to have submitted false, inaccurate, or misleading information, the applicant will be disqualified from admission to the Doctor of Medicine (International Program), regardless of whether they have already been selected for admission.

Application Fee: 2,000 THB

For Thai students: 475,000 THB per semester

For International students: 495,000 THB per semester
