Admission Requirements

 

 

1.    The upper age limit for studying Traditional Chinese Medicine at CICM is 30 years old.

2.    Applicants must not hold Chinese nationality.

3.    Applicants must graduate or currently studying in senior high school (Thai program or international program) or equivalent.
For applicants who are still studying in the senior high school

-       An official document issued by school confirming that student is expected to graduate this academic year.

-       An official transcript is showing the result of every semester throughout the program.

For applicants who have completed senior high school, a supporting document issued by school must be submitted as proof of completion.

4. Applicants must not be a student of any university or other higher education institution, except for studies at an open university or online programs leading to a degree.

  5. Applicants must not being ill or in a condition that would significantly hinder education (having no severe color blindness    on both sides).

6. The admission criteria for Traditional Chinese Medicine (International Program) are divided into 4 cases as follows:

- Case 1: Must have English language proficiency scores according to Thammasat University's international program  standards, with one of the following test results :

- Case 2: / Applicants who do not meet the English proficiency test scores specified in case 1 but have any of following English language test scores :

and have a total GPA of English are not less than 3.00, the application will be considered for conditional admission, with additional English language development during the course of study.

 

- Case 3: Applicants have English language proficiency scores in accordance with the admission criteria of the International Program, Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University, and have Chinese language proficiency scores test, HSK Level 4 or higher. When enrolled, they will be exempted in CMN 141 Fundamentals of Chinese.

 

-  Case 4: Applicants have Chinese language proficiency scores at or above HSK Level 4 but do not have English language proficiency scores according to Case 1 and Case 2. They will be considered for admission with conditions, which include further development of English language skills during their studies. They must also have achieved scores in the English language proficiency test according to the admission criteria of the International Program, Chulabhorn International College of Medicine, Thammasat University. Also, applicants who language proficiency test, HSK level 4 or higher will be exempted in CMN 141 Fundamentals of Chinese.

 

Furthermore, the scores of the English language proficiency test and Chinese language proficiency test presented must not exceed 2 years from the test date to the application date.
